Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:00 pm, 6th – 12th graders converge on the youth building! Social time and worship time set the tone for the evening — we’re all about knowing God and loving each other! The main topic for the evening is also introduced in this time together, and then we split up into age-specific, guy/girl groups to discuss it and apply it in a personal way. Each week is a little different to keep things fresh!

Every Sunday from 9:15-10:15 am Sunday School is available for Middle and High schoolers. High Schoolers also have the option of moving up to the adult classes or serving hands-on in the children’s department.
We want students to discover who God has created them to be, and how they can be a part of serving others — both in the church and the world around us! We are involved in writing and performing most of the children’s events that go on and are often found inviting in our neighborhood. Many found a way to connect this last year, from a baby shower for a crisis pregnancy center to putting on VBS at a church in Miami, to demolition at a church needing help, to putting on a full church service for our own congregation. We want to act like Jesus!
Sometimes the key to life change is getting away from “normal” and having some focused time of refreshing with great activities, good food and God’s Word! Middle schoolers will head to Lake Swan Camp this coming summer to connect with God and make great friends!
LIFE CONFERENCE 2013
This summer, July 9-13, 2013, our high schoolers will head to St. Louis for an incredible gathering! Thousands of C&MA youth will gather to meet with God, enjoy each other and bless the city with hands-on service. We will look to God to honor that gathering with his presence and look forward to important decisions being made. For a link to the LIFE CONFERENCE website, click HERE.
The Bible quiz team meets Sunday afternoons at 4:30 pm. The quiz team memorizes an entire book of the Bible and then travels to competitions with other quiz teams throughout the state. It’s a whole lot of fun and 3 of our quizzers have gone on to International competitions! Meet dates are included on the FALL SCHEDULE above!
Plenty of events interrupt “normal” at youth group! Sometimes its gatherings like Rock the Universe, lock-ins, and Word of Life “Superbowl” — tons of good times connecting with friends and with God. Others might include fund raisers like our annual garage sale or dinner theater. While some have a ticket price, our favorites are free, like the GUYS & GIRLS LOCK-INS!
A simple way to know what’s going on, or meet some of the youth and parents in our group is join us on facebook. We look forward to connecting with you!
